I spent my first few precious years as a new mom trying to be perfect at motherhood, at being a working mom, at being a wife, at balancing all of it. I tried to spin all the plates, wear all the hats, and make it look effortless and simultaneously totally doable.
Lies.
This blog was the result of a tearful wakeup call.
For the past several years I’ve been helping parents navigate the small moments in our lives that may or may not be worth giving a fuck about. Whether it’s meal planning, breastfeeding, behavior issues, or even how to talk to your kids about important and challenging topics (such as death or race) there’s probably some content to help you live your best DGAF life.
I’m Beth. I’m the DGAF MOM (that’s Dee-gAF).
I believe that being a mom is hard.
I’ve learned that when I don’t give a fuck about things that aren’t serving me, this whole parenting thing can become so much more fun. I also don’t know how I feel about something until I write about it…which is why this blog came to exist. Thanks for being here.
