What Do You Need for Brinner Success?
If you’re reading this blog post odds are solid you’ve got yourself in the company of a nice non-stick pan. A few sheet pans, maybe a pot, and at the least a functioning oven.
But in the even you’re in the market to level up your Breakfast for dinner game, here’s a few items to have on hand that are time savers and legit win me over in the make it easier for ME category.
A really good blender. I recommend the Nutribullet
IDK why but I’ve bought about 10 blenders since I bought this Nutribullet 7 years ago and none of them make a smoothie as well as this mother effer right here. My boys hear that sound of the blades doing their thing and they’re running knowing it’s time for dinner!
I also like to make smoothies (where I load them up with spinach, cucumbers, aka all the veggies my children won’t eat but need) FOR LUNCH, dinner, breakfast, snacks. Adding honey or dates keeps them sweet. Tossing in some ground flax or chia seeds increases fiber. They have no idea how healthy they are. They think they’re a treat!
Breakfast for Toddlers
Let’s start with this idea of Breakfast for kids because the truth is, eggs, pancakes, waffles, toast, and other traditional American style breakfast foods are super easy on toddler taste buds.
They’re also quick to throw together, relatively inexpensive, and provide a balanced variety of nutrients (whole grain waffles? Breakfast smoothies for some veggies/fruits!)
They also let your baby’s and toddlers eat what the grown-ups are eating, without being completely repelled by the flavors and profiles on your plate.
It’s really a win-win.
